So much time and so much activity was marked by a lot of research, innovation and hope for a future where the consumption of efficiently filtered water was widespread. Every story has a beginning, and to mark our anniversary, we want you to know ours.
It all started in 1994 when our founding partner, Ademir Rech, studied and developed the technology known as Melt Blown. Until that moment, this technology was not yet commercialized in the Brazilian market. It is characterized by heating polypropylene followed by an extrusion process into small filaments, forming a microporous cylinder that becomes the filter element responsible for retaining solid particles in the water.
MORE HEALTH FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
In 2008, our partner had a dream in mind: to develop and sell these water filters at a fair price, to provide a better quality of life for the population.
That's how Acquabios came about, and it was this desire that guided the creation of the company's first positioning, “more health for you and your family”. In 2011, we certified all our products with INMETRO and the entire management of the company started to follow the ISO 9001:2008 Norms.
In 2014 we completed six years of Acquabios. To celebrate this anniversary, we decided to dare! We started to manufacture filters with colorful faucets and modern design, to make your home protected and even more beautiful. We were the first Brazilian brand to take such care with the decoration and personalization of environments, so in 2016 we were already super popular in the country's metropolises.
MANY REASONS TO CELEBRATE
This year we completed a decade, and to celebrate, we reached the number of more than 3 million items delivered. In addition, we modernized the company, redesigned our logo and reformulated our positioning to “better water, better life”.
We know that all these achievements would not be possible without the serious work that has always guided our activities, but we also know that this success is the result of the confidence that resellers and consumers have in our products. That is why, in 2019, we will be increasingly closer, both in the availability of new technologies and products, and in actions to strengthen the relationship with everyone who is part of this history.
