Do you know the ideal characteristics of drinking water? In each region the characteristics of the water change. To find out the chemical composition of the one that arrives at your home, request the information from the sanitation company that supplies it in your city.

In order to remain potable, the water undergoes several forms of treatment, however, you are assured that it complies with current legislation. Even so, to be consumed, it must go through a process of cleaning and organization. The objective is to make it odorless, tasteless, colorless, with neutral or alkaline PH and low sodium content.

The World Health Organization recommends that daily sodium intake be up to 2000mg. Did you know that some of the best-known brands of mineral water need to add a lot of sodium to the water to give their composition neutral/alkaline PH characteristics? Look on the labels, water with a lower sodium content always has a low pH index and vice versa.

TAP WATER, WHEN FILTERED, GOES THROUGH A PROCESS OF REMOVAL OF IMPURITIES, REDUCTION OF FREE CHLORINE AND BALANCE OF ITS NATURAL CHARACTERISTICS.

When drinking water, prefer filtered water. Do you know why?

Because the sanitation network guarantees supply within the standards established by the Ministry of Health and the certified filter within the conditions established in INMETRO's Ordinance 344 guarantees that the equipment has passed rigorous water quality tests. In these tests, it is required that the PH of the water is greater than 6.5 after being filtered, that a chlorine reduction of more than 75% occurs, that the impurities suspended in the water are retained and that the extractable levels and bacteriological efficiency meet the standards of safety established by NBR 16098. All this guarantees pure, light, odorless, tasteless, turbid and neutral water for consumption.
