Articles and medical recommendations on basic care for the preservation of our health were often silenced by the rush of everyday life. However, currently, with the COVID-19 pandemic, such precautions are in full evidence.

We know that the elderly and people who previously had comorbidities are the most affected by the coronavirus, however, it is necessary for all of us to take measures to strengthen our immune system and reduce the spread of the virus. So today, on World Health Day, we will share 3 basic tips to improve your health care and that of everyone around you. Let's go together?

1. Sleep well

In addition to physical and mental rest, sleep has vital roles for our body, such as metabolic balance and the reduction of possible changes in the immune system. To get quality sleep, it is recommended to sleep 6 to 8 hours on average. Actions like avoiding screens 2 hours before bedtime and getting a more comfortable pillow will also contribute to an excellent night.

2. Wear mask

We couldn't leave this tip out. We know that the moment is delicate for everyone and the measures are restrictive, but it is very important that the correct use of face masks and social distance are respected and applied in everyday life. In this way, you are protecting everyone's health and helping to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

3. Hydrate

Finally, we need to remember the importance of water for our body. Our body is made up of about 70% water, which is responsible for very important functions, such as transporting nutrients and regulating our body temperature. The ideal consumption is at least 2 liters per day. Always having a bottle close by is a great alternative to consumers' biggest complaint: forgetfulness.
