Established by the UN in 1993, March 22 is celebrated as World Water Day. The date came up with the intention of remembering the importance of this resource for life. In addition, it is also a time to remember the importance of sustainable use, avoiding unnecessary use, pollution and contamination. We separate some tips to put sustainable use into practice:

Reduce bath time: The ideal is to opt for quick baths, which last as long as necessary to perform the hygiene. To further boost savings, turn off the shower when soaping your hair.

Keep faucets closed when not in use: When brushing teeth and washing dishes, remember to always turn off the faucets to avoid waste.

Do not wash sidewalks with hoses: Up to 120 liters of water can be spent when washing a sidewalk. That's why the ideal is to replace it with the use of a broom or even a bucket of water.

Use filters or water purifiers for consumption: Bottles of water that are used so much for our consumption are great villains for the environment. Although PET is 100% recyclable, the manufacturing process can pollute the environment and there are still a lot of people who do not dispose of the material properly.

Acquabios provides various applications of filters and water purifiers according to your needs. Check out our products here!
